The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
